What this actually is
Parody. Herd Surveillance is a fictional company in World of Warcraft. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Flock Safety, any other surveillance company, or Blizzard Entertainment. World of Warcraft® is a trademark of Blizzard Entertainment, Inc.
What we collect
- A still picture of a character at the Thunder Bluff mailbox, taken from our live stream. It is pixelated before it goes on this website. The clear picture never leaves the streaming computer.
- Rough, made-up labels: what the character seemed to be doing (for example "standing" or "fishing"), what was nearby, rough color names, and a size bucket. A computer guesses these, and it is often wrong.
- Plates, file numbers, risk scores, hotlist reasons and "agencies" are random jokes. They don't mean anything.
What we don't collect
No character names, realms, guilds, account details or chat. No cookies and no tracking on this website. You can't search by appearance or color.
How long we keep it
30 days. After that the file and its picture are deleted from this website. They are not just hidden.
Removal requests
Email removal@herdsurveillance.com with the file number or plate, or use the removal page. Files expire on their own after 30 days.
The live stream and YouTube videos
The live stream and videos are a parody broadcast of a public game world. They aren't edited on request. Removal applies to files on this website only.
